A Note from Ryu

When I design a jacket, I’m thinking about how it feels to step out the door in it.

I think about the balance of weight on your shoulders, the way the dragon curves when you move, how the colors sit under streetlights or in a train window. I keep the palettes disciplined so the embroidery does the talking—and so you can throw it on with a simple tee and still feel like you’re wearing a story, not a costume.

My hope is simple: that when you zip up a Fujidō jacket, it feels like something made for your path, wherever that happens to be.
